*** Zelda: Breath of the Wild ***

How do I find out how long I've been playing ? This game really is unbelievable, the size and scope they have achieved is mind boggling , just keep thinking to myself how have they made a game this big and this good.. And I can play it anywhere !

On the wii u you have a daily log feature, that shows what you have played everyday, not sure if thats on the switch console,

Not sure. I am just running around semi naked on the island and blood moons are frequent. Maybe it depends on where you are.

There seems to a be a bug with blood moons if you use sleep mode a lot. Try quitting and restarting the game. I was getting blood moons at 4pm so something had obviously gone a bit wrong!

Yeah, that makes sense. As I just press the power button on the top when taking a short pause to help conserve battery.

By the way, did anyone else manage to find and light all those torches with blue fire? I cannot find anymore yet nothing happened :(

Gave up and went to the beach to find another shrine far away in the sea which turned out to be another major test of strength. Dispatched him quickly and got a very nice prize :D

With 43 shines complete, I only just got my camera. Lol. I feel like I am just starting the game. So much to see an do yet. How McBain did it in 30 hours I don't know, I have already played more than that I am sure.

Out of interest has anyone purchased the DLC season pass for this yet?

Two packs out later this year adding a number of new things - not sure I'll grab it just yet as the main game has more than enough to keep me going!

Not yet, no rush, too busy enjoying the game. The best part of the dlc won't be out until the end of the year anyway.

I got it yesterday, otherwise I'll forget so if I stumble across it during my normal roaming around I'll do it instead of go looking for it.

Just got to Korok forest after getting lost a few times on the way before figuring out the fog. Done the shrine and finally found the tree dude to use my korok seed things to expand my inventory. Bloody hell got the stage I had to pay 8 for expanding now... Lol

Oh and I did not pull out the:
sword yet. I feel like if I am able to wield it, it maybe too OP and ruin all the other swords. But I get the feeling you cannot pull out out before doing all 4 bosses anyway. I will only get it after I feel like I am getting close to going up against Ganon.

Before I buy a Switch for Zelda alone, can someone confirm that there is a story to the game? Just in case I feel like I want a bit of direction to the experience. If So, how many hours roughly?

@TNA

You need 13 hearts to pull the sword out. :) id get it asap, it's great against guardians.
Ah cool. I can get when I want then. I have been killing lots of guardians now that I know their tactics. Trouble is I am running out of the guardian swords I got from the major tests of strength. So might go grab it soon.

I assume it has infinite durability?

Just did my first memory. 11 more to go. But not going to go look for them. I am sure while I explore naturally I will come across them :)

Yes and no, it cant break but you wont be able to use it all of the time.
