The amp seems to have a much beefier cooler, performance is down to the silicon lottery . Though zotac have a 5 year warranty if you register the card with them Vs the standard Nvidia 3 year warranty.
For £20 difference I'd say the amp personally.

Amp hands down if I was getting 1, easy choice for me as my 3 slot/fan 1070 Amp Extreme is one of the best gpu's I've owned, cool running.
