Hi guys,

Haven't been on here for a long time now, but I'm having a small issue with a Zotac GT430. Trying to fit it into an Acer Aspire X3200, but the cooler is too big.

Can anyone recommend a good low profile heatsink/fan to replace the stock one? Can't seem to find any in the store.

I thought the GT430 was single slot or unless you have the passive one? Think you're gonna struggle with this mate. Most aftermarket coolers seem to be aimed at the high end as nobody really buys them for the lower end cards as they simply don't need to. However hopefully some resourceful forum member will prove me wrong.

I think your only options might be a new case which might not be the best bet as i don't know what sort of sizes the rest of the components are in the aspire as it looks pretty small and i cba to look it up.

logical option is to flog it. They seem to retail circa £65 so £40 is achievable if not more and buy a card that does fit.

Ok, thanks for the reply.

I thought that it would be single slot as well, I probably should have done some more in depth research into it. But it turns out it's double slot.

Also been reading in places that the power supply might not be powerful enough for it.

Is there any other cards out there which would fit the x3200?
