I'm a big fan of 80s microcomputers, so this reimagination of the ZX Spectrum is pretty interesting. It also has a good community of people around it and new games being developed.

Also, it's probably the final kickstarter. So potentially the last chance to get one without having to resort to eBay

I agree, a device like this is a luxury for just playing games where an emulator works just fine.

However, I've been having a lot of fun with TheC64 Maxi and teaching myself to code the old fashioned way. It's quite different to my day job and the modern software development experience. So, I'm hoping to continue that journey on the Next.

Tbh, it looks like a big step up from the old machines but I can't find a definitive list of Next specific software. Having a single device that supports multiple cores is also pretty nice as it it'll give you access to thousands of games, especially when considering it also supports the C64.
