Right, I'm trying to take the manifold off my 98 zzr600 (long story short - it rattles, it's still within warranty, need to get the old one off before I can exchange for new). Its turning into a joke
I've unscrewed the lower fairing and dropped the oil cooler and one of the screws for the oil cooler bracket (the manifold is blocking access to the other screw). The radiator is in the way mainly and I think it needs to be dropped down out of the way. Am I right in thinking I have to remove ALL of the front body work to do this? I've removed the lower fairing, and the mid section is the only thing in the way of the radiator. So to get the mid section out, I have to remove the indicators/mirrors and top fairing?
Should this be possible without removing the radiator?
