To break 2000!!

Ah gotcha. Yeah got more in the tank, memory can't go higher without voltage. Core i reckon will go up to 1200 but im scared of breaking the card tbh lol.

Nice score, any chance of passing 2000 please.:)

Have you turned off hyperthreading, this sometimes gives a bit more on the score.

Nice run @1440 as well.:)

Thanks Kaap no i have not tried that. I will try disabling it. I reckon i can break 2000. :)

Mission complete. More in the tank for next time. That's enough torture testing for one day. The good thing is things appear perfectly stable at these clocks and voltage settings with no artifacts in sight. Something that could not be said for my 7950's above anything other than a medium overclock. (1100/1500)

I got 2 x GTX 780s at score 2968
Cores at 1202mhz
RAM at 1625.

My CPU and system RAM is still at stock at the moment as I'm waiting on new RAM before I o/c running running 4 x 4GB on a 4670K Z87X-OC board. That puts in into 15th place with no CPU or system RAM o/c I'm happy with that :D

Cheers. So what extra can I expect score wise once ive clocked my cpu and ram?

Overclocking the CPU will make a difference with two cards but overclocking system ram makes very little difference. It is all about having enough CPU speed to drive the cards. It is the same with i7 CPUs, turning off the hyperthreading can increase the score slightly as it allows the remaining cores to work more efficiently.

Just ran these

I used a 3930k with 2 cores turned off and also Hyperthreading off.
2 x GTX 690s used at stock speeds for all runs

3930k on 4 cores @3.8 (same as turbo speed on 4670k), no HT
Ram @2400mhz 9-11-11-25 1T 96

3930k on 4 cores @4.6 (reasonable oc for a 4670k), no HT
Ram @2400mhz 9-11-11-25 1T 96

The difference in score between these first two results is purely down to CPU speed.

On this last run below the memory speed has been dropped to 1600mhz, this has resulted in only a tiny drop in score.

3930k on 4 cores @4.6 (reasonable oc for a 4670k), no HT
Ram @1600mhz 9-11-11-25 1T 96 (very slow memory speed)
