Google Chrome

Pre-caching, it looks at the domain names in the links and requests a lookup before you click on them so you don't have to wait for the name to resolve before connecting to the server.

Oh I see. Still, I haven't personally noticed a speed difference so my PC / ISP's DNS server must be quick enough already.

nice little browser

one feature i like is dragging a tab out of the window makes a whole new browser pop up

it's no adblock plus though, webpages look really dirty through it, with google ads everywhere and flashy banners :spew:

It's the same in Fx3 here, it doesn't reload images it's already got cached
Sure you haven't disabled the cache somewhere, with the Web Developer extension or something?

Safari does the drag to desktop opens a new window as well, and it'll probably make it into Fx3.1 too.

Edit:
You can see where the icon came from :D

Chrome is incredible - I got rid of Firefox. Never thought I'd see the day.

It's MAD fast, scrolling is phenomenally fast, the caching is godlike, I could go on all day. Google pee on me!

The extra processes that open when you open more tabs annoys me even though comparing it to Firefox on the same websites it uses less ram. Kinda like the design though and looks very nice with Aero.

Tried it on a Windows XP machine last night and comes up with a application error and fails to open any websites.

Tried it on a Windows Vista machine and seems to work all right! :D

Working fine on XP here. No crashes at all yet.

Wheres the down arrow to look at history?

Ctrl+H

Or click the little spanner at top right of the browser window and click history.
