*****Increased Gigabyte Motherboard Range*****

Just get the UD5, its a known beast with a brilliant track record.

Play it safe and just get a 920 at 4.00GHz on air, should be enough for anyone. :D

Aye. That's the plan. Have to wait until the 14th for my loan, and 17th for my 21st birthday money. Think I deserve a treat as it's my 21st ^^

We had Gigabyte in this week and can confirm that the EX58A models have been cancelled completely now. There will not be anymore P45 boards either so the EP45-UD5 will not be making an appearance.

Good news is we have one final batch of the EX58-Extreme arriving middle of next week.

Strange that the UD5A was pulled. Though I suppose it's good news that I got the UD5 instead of waiting for it

Does anyone know (& is able to say here) why the UD5-extreme was EOLed? It looks to be quite capable and I'm sure sold well despite the UD5 being basically the same board

Bah, I am quite gutted about these boards not becoming available, I was so looking forward to these being released.

That said, the current UD5's are more than capable.

You have to remember that while a couple of the "high-end" e-tailers like us can sell quite a few of these, the majority don't. To product a product in the far east and ship it over to Europe costs a lot of money and if the sales aren't there to back it up it doesn't make financial sense.

We've got a decent amount arriving but that will likely be it after that. If we want to get it after that the order would have to be special build meaning we need to order so many it wouldn't make sense for OcUK.

At the end of the day there is very little point. Intel will have a lot planned for next year so it renders a re-release a bit pointless.
