Complete reboot of the series and Agent 47
Agent 47's got beard! (WTF?!)
Heavy focus on story
47's "assignments" are more open mission just like in the previous titles
The game features more linear missions when 47 isn't on an assignment, with focus on guns and cover
The game is being developed along with the second Hitman-movie
You get to play as other killers, not only 47. One of the assassins is a woman.
David Bateson is lending out his voice as 47 yet again

Two things happpen when something is as good as the best hitman-

1/ it is extremely unlikley to be that good again.
2/ it is extremely likley that they will wrinse the title until everyone is utterly sure it wont be that good again and ze franchise dies a profitable death.

The first hitman was absolutely epic, a perfect game with great levels you could play over and over again, the sequels were balls.

They removed all the cool stuff and made it...crap.
I remember in the first one if you put a gun down, or away then took it out it was still the same number of bullets.
Used to be great rolling with 6 berreta's and throwing them away as they were empty and taking out new ones.

Bit worried by it being developed alongside the movie, only decent movie tie in's I remember were Goldeneye (N64) and The Godfather, and they weren't developed for released at the same time as the film so weren't rushed to get them out!
Love the old Hitman games and was looking forward to the new one but not any more!

Just hope they continue to use Timothy Olyphant as the hitman (for the movies) I've enjoyed all the hitman games blood money being my fav i think

The first was insanely difficult with a pretty prescriptive way of completing assignments, the later ones loosened up a little and were actually better for it.

Hitman is one of my favourite series of games and I've been waiting for a sequel to Blood Money for ages. The best game in the series in my opinion was Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, absolutely amazing game and the missions were awesome. :D

Hopefully this will have some good, creative ways to kill people.

wtf have they done to his face?

edit:

oh ffs taking an epic stealth/puzzle solver and turing it into the latest cover system shooter movie tie in.

Game is going to suck more balls than Chasey Lain.

Hitman is actually one of my favourite series, the main downfall of it was it was just too easy to go in all guns blazing because 47 was almost bulletproof. It wasn't hard enough, thinking about it - was a choice but it should have been essential.
