Finally finished my cheapo HTPC the other small machine I posted a few pages back is an ITX way more powerful and compact but this one allows me to use some of my spare parts I had lying around including a 5.25 bluray player and other bits.

Used for HD Movies and general usage net. office etc...

Installed the Scythe today - massive improvement in temp and noise. It now runs almost silently, you can just hear the air moving through the case nothing else.

She is finally alive. a mix of old and new. downsizing from a lian li pc60 which was a brilliant case.

Great case, have one currently running as a TVBox. An Idea for you, add a quiet 80 mm fan on the right of the case by the ramsinks and make it pull air from the outside. Doing this lowered the temps on mine by about 6'c and it isn't even a fast fan.

What i ended up doing was putting an 80mm fan at about 45-50 degrees from the graphics card blowing in that general direction as i had removed the 3.5" drive bay completely.

Very impressed with temps low 30s on idle for the CPU and high 30s for the GPU. Also very quiet case with the big low rpm fans.

What case is it though... I though at first it was an Antec ISK110, but now I am not so sure!

Yeah its the isk 110; I didn't like the silver front so I sandpapered it down.

New Lian Li PC-Q02 build - Man is it quiet!

Intel i3-3220 3.1GHz
2x4GB DDR1600 Crucial Ballistix
Gigabyte H77N-WIFI
OCZ 120GB Solid SSD

I modded the Slimline Alu faceplate for the drive bay to fit on the bezel of the DVD drive. Push the bezel on the right and it works smoothly while looking very tidy if I may say so myself. (Real pity Lian Li couldn't design it to work like this themselves)

wow that Lian-li is sooo cute.

BitFenix Prodigy is one of the best looking cases I have ever seen. It rivals the design quality of Apple products.
