You need to use the extreme preset, the same as the poster above yours.

Got a score

Single EVGA 780 Classy HC 1430/3944 cpu 3960X @ 5.2
Corsair Dominator 16Gb 2400 9-11-11-31-1T

The HC blocks were a separate buy and stuck on later. Not the best design but (for me anyhoo) better than the air coolers.

Question

Can anybody explain why my score is better when I use the 100 bclk strap on my RIVE mbd than if I use the 125bclk strap for the 3960X cpu? Score drops about 100 to 150 with the 125 strap. 5.2GHz and the rest of the bios is the same for both straps.

Same thing when trying 3DMK11.

Obviously I've got ideas about it but I'm not too sure.

Nice clock on the 780, that's the first one I've seen above 1400 core :eek:
