Hi,

So I have had this monitor for a year or two now. I read that this comes colour calibrated out of the box. Is the correct?

Also, if that was the case, would choosing reset set it back to these settings, or are they lost forever?

Anyone have any recommended settings for this monitor too?

I would post my settings, but I want to know what other's would recommend first. One reviewer suggested a brightness of 22, but to me, this seems really dark, am I just used too used to 100 brightness burning my retinas? :p

Edit: Also, samsung lists this as having a tilt stand. Erm, does it? I feel like its just one solid piece, not obvious way of tilting.

I wrote a long'ish detailed reply in the morning but lost it all when I timed out. So here is the short version.

1. I had this monitor and still have the .icc profile and OSD settings if you'd like them.
2. It comes as closely calibrated as it can be, but can still benefit from a proper calibration.
3. http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/m...samsung-s23a700d-120hz-3d-monitor-review.html
4. Depends on your environment what the brightness should be. If your room is overly bright then it helps turning it up but then not too much that it crushes whites and blacks and causes eye strain.
5. Hold the panel and push it back and it will tilt. It's probably a bit stiff.

Response Time: Faster
Magic: Group View
Eco Saving: Off
Brightness: 53
Contrast: 75
Sharpness:60
Red: 45
Green:48
Blue:40

Each Panel is different, so what worked for me may not for you.
