To be fair, could you unlock Titan X voltage at launch? Not with Afterburner.

This is true. You could not unlock voltage on the Titan X launch until Unwinder for MSI afterburner let people know how to do it.I expect the same with AMD Fury x.

What I am puzzled with though people saying AMD Fury X is not good if it is does not beat it a 980Ti/Titan X.

AMD Fury X AIO Cooling same price as 980TI reference. With equal gaming performance what's not to like.I do not get it.

You are assuming it is equal and we only have what Gibbo has said to go on, so if it does cost the same as the Ti and is the same performance, would you rather buy a Ti or a Fury X? Some people won't want the AIO cooler and some will want the extra 2GB of VRAM. I want AMD to kick some TX and grab the crown for what it's worth.

Hi Gibbo hope you can help if your still around sorry.

If I somehow manage to get my hands on a Fury X, can you please recommend a case that would accommodate it for around £90,

I was thinking of getting this
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-135-NX&groupid=2362&catid=35

But am worried about mounting the cooler etc.

Sorry to ask this in here!

Thanks

I think I will help here.

That is a nice case, no external drive bays tho if you needed a DVD drive etc.

Also,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower Case with Window - Black £89.99
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower Case with Window - Titanium Green £89.99
1 x Corsair Graphite 730T Full Tower Chassis - Black (CC-9011046-WW) £84.95
Total : £286.34 (includes shipping : £17.85 Ex.VAT).

The 730t is the same as a 760t but without the windowed sidepanels but they can be bought separately.

I think even if it was slower (but not by much) than the 980 Ti, it still represents a relative bargain. The AIO adds what, £75+ of value to the card?

Fury X £550, 980 Ti Hybrid, £650. £100 difference, that's what I'm looking at.

No not going on what Gibbo saying.AMD aimed for 980Ti/Titan X performance. That's exactly what I expect.Nothing more or nothing less.

I am with that AMD fanboy shankly1985 LOL J/K I am AMD fan also, but I buy everything.
