Just picked one up meself just to test how it performs against the Nforce chipset.

Looking to see how well the Sata II controller works aswell as X64 Compatability as the board comes with X64 drivers.

Running 2 gigs corsair currently at 1T 2.3.3.8 so hopefully if i can get them timings on the Uli

Will be using an ati X850PE PCie / FX55

probrably set it up later today or tomorrow so i will put a few benchmark tests in the thread later on.

I've given Windows Pro x64 a go and haven't had any problems to far. I'm using the windows x64 trial from the microsoft site. Installed the Far Cry x64 patch, ran the Regulator timedemo and got an average of 47fps with spec in sig @ 1284x1024. Haven't had to install any of the drivers from the cd yet as i don't currently use the onboard sound, LAN or SATA(2) controller.

TIP: If your looking for drivers for certain hardware/software, search in google;) 'windows x64' followed by what you are looking for. eg. 'windows x64 creative driver'. You can usually find what your looking for in the first few results.

The P1.20 Bios opens up the overclock options and is available here. There are no overcolcking options in the P1.10 bios that's shipped with the board. You'll need to make a MS-DOS bootable floppy disk (or CD). Here is the process in more detail. There are a few other minor fixes and improvements for stablilty.

ASRock release notes said:
1. Showed "CPU over clock mode" in BIOS setup items.
2. Added "User Config Mode", "Read Preamble", "Asyc Latency" in BIOS setup.
There's another beta bios in testing at OCworkbench that's so far allowed up to 300MHz fsb, but i'm not prepared to be the guinea pig just yet ;).

Coolasmoo, looks like your getting some good results from the SATA2 controller, good news for when i upgrade :D.

Yep, looks like im gonna hold onto this board for a while,

Bf2 runs fine
Memtest the memory with no errors for an hour
Seems to be no problems that i can see so far running XP64

Also silent passive Northbridge is an added bonus (although i had this with the an8ultra :p )

All this for under 50 quid

Yes, it does. It has 2 x IDE connectors, 1 x floppy connector (below the bottom PCI slot), 2 x SATA connectors and 1 x SATA2 connector.

Hmmm,

Odly enough i have found the 1T bug that some of you guys have found.

Not games or benchmark but browsing web and clicking certain flash links.

Just incase its X64 related im dropping back to xp32 to see if its anything else.

Shame really because its a cracking board and i really would like to keep this.
