Headset and Speakers?

Hey all,
Atm I am currently switching between my creative speakers and medusa headset all the time, which means having to find my way around the back of the PC and swapping the plugs. I am using a Audigy LS Sound card.

Is there anything I can buy which would allow me to have the speakers and headset plugged in at the same time but with a flick of a switch or something allow me to switch between the two?

Any help appreciated.

Did you not get an amp with the medusas? Mine came with a box with inputs and outputs for speakers so I can keep both plugged in at the same time.

i use a 3.5mm splitter plugged into the soundcard output which gives you two outputs and then juts mute my speakers when i want to use my headphones

You can buy a usb headset and just switch between using control panel.

This is what Iv'e done in the past.

Method 1 is to set the sound card up as 2 + 2 (stereo front and back providing card does it). That enables you to leave them all plugged in, but is no good if your using 5.1 speakers.

Method 2 is to use a 3.5mm splitter (you can just get cables ) as previously mentioned.

Method 3 is to use a box with a switch such as this. I use one made by Plantonics (same as picture)
