Sorry but this is kinda a OMG post...

Not sure if any of you have seen the latest screenshots (some below) looks like still from the X06 show but the BIG news that im really excited about is that the "Networkable Multiple View" from the original Forza is also being included in Forza 2

I can honestly say i really enjoyed this and it totally changes the enjoyment levels of the game even though its not a feature that will be available to most. Ok at this stage dont go think yeah right as if im going to spend that just to play a game with extra screens, its something that can be done if gathering a few friends and is rather easily setup.

It is worth probably getting an extra screen or two from a mate and of course youll need 1x360 for each screen and 1x copy of the game for each system. Well everything has a downside but I usually find bribing mates with free pizza etc helps btw.

Go on just the one...
Even adding 1 additional screen as a rearview mirror or real time replay just adds something extra to the game and i know quite a few people here already have 2x X360s.

I totally applaud Microsoft for doing this and its been announced this mode is available over Live ...

Multi Monitor Owners might be tempted i suppose...
Just as well the X360 supports VGA eh, certainly a lot cheaper than HDTV's

This is what was possible in Forza 1

(My Previous Testing From Forza) Centre TFT is all you would see in a normal game. Projector = Real Time Replay / TFTs = Multiview Mode

Anyways heres some new ingame shots LINKAGE

this is awesome, will have to buy another xbox just to test this out

another note is the graphics look awesome, i for one realy like the enviroment details which have never been as well done as they should have

but i think the wheels on the cars look out of place, they look like simple matte textures, they dont have reflections or lighting on them

Shaping up quite nicely.

Hopefully there wont be any more major delays to this one (although a few minor delays to perfect things would be ok)

i never knew forza could do that nor even if i had the money would i buy 3 consoles/tvs/games just to get surround screen support. it just doesnt look right or would feel right as you'd then be concentrating on multiple screens. maybe i'd feel differently if i'd used it myself but i havent.

Actually although the screens would not match inline 100% the whole experience of seeing the enviroments wiz past either side is very imersive.
Anyone thats tried F355 in this configuration would have an idea.

Its eye candy WOW factor but also can improve your performance and enjoyment.
Particulary when overtaking as you can see the car dead along side you.
It can make collisions easier to spot and is also very good for seeing the apex on tight corners when turning in.

Just a recap why this game will be AWESOME...

70 Tracks
300 Customisable Cars
60 FPS
Steering wheel support with full force feed back
180 degrees panaromic view possible
Car engines all recorded from a dynamo for additional realism with 5.1 support
12x cars in races now possible
Damage model that looks excellent, leaves car parts on track and most importantly hopefully stops wasters ruining races
Full personalisation available for your own online identity for each car
Improved photo mode with online and email support

Excited yet?

The extra X360s fully power the other views so unlike a PC using surround gaming mode the CPU/GPU etc isnt under any other strain, basicaly the game will run as normal...

Im considering using 3x Samsung 21" 215TW monitors
These include component input and work with the 1080i mode.

Is anyone else feeling the multiscreen bug?

Those screenshots don't look particularly special to me  Hardly better than the Xbox version. I hope this isn't just going to be Forza with a higher framerate and higher resolution.

I thought before you told us you actually would prefer less detail and a higher framerate.

Its going to be the best looking racer on a console for sometime id say.

Expect the same treatment PGR3 had over PGR2 in visual terms but even a bit better again and a 60FPS which is what hardcore fans want.

Also according to developers the simulation engine calculates over 300 instructions per second for vehicles.

Yes, if I had to choose between the two. But seeing as the Xbox360 is supposedly several times more powerful than the Xbox, it should be both. Not just a 720p 60fps version of Forza 1.

Do those Forza 2 screens look any better than Gran Turismo HD on the PS3? Bearing in mind it is just the old PS2 game GT4 at high-res, whereas Forza 2 is a whole new game which is meant to take full advantage of next-gen hardware. Based on the Forza 2 and GT HD screens I've seen, Forza 2 is not better and might even be worse - seriously.
