did u get the mic working

ive got sound just when i record myself on sound recorder or use msn it comes out really really messed up and really fast on sound recorder

any light shed on this would be ace thanks

Ok I just selected it as the Sound device in Teamspeak2, 360headset it showed up as... The sensitivty is quite diffrent to my other mic so i had to adjust the Voice activation and leves abit but it works fine.

To use it with MSM you need to select your voice record and playback to the headset in audio devices.

The only thing I would say is when your using speaks for game sounds you need to make sure you get your levels set just right or people get your game sounds constantly transmitted which is really really annoying...

Small word of warning (will add this to the first post as well):

I initially installed the receiver plugged in to the USB hub on my monitor, but now I want to hide it away behind my desk somewhere. However if I move the receiver from one port to another, the pads can no longer sync! I tried lots of things like uninstalling software, trying different ports etc. but nothing works. The pads only sync when plugged in to the EXACT same USB port which I initially installed the device on  muchos annoying

strange  , have you tried re-syncing the pad back with the the 360 (if you have one of course) then moving the receiver to a different port, switch off the 360 then try and re-sync the pad back with the receiver ?

works with GTR2 like a dream, don't foget to set the deadzone though otherwise you may find like I did driving straight quite hard due to the pad being overly sensative, the triggers are soooooo handy with this game also :)

Just what i wanted to hear, im back and after taking 10 mins to get the damn thing out the packaging its finally out and im installing it now :D , 14.99 i paid but i fancied one right away so a quick trip into town picked up my reserved one :)

Anyone have one of these and a sennheiser usb headset? As soon as I plug the x360 adaptor in, the sound on the headset becomes corrupt. I have checked the power usage on the usb ports, removed everything but the headset + x360 adaptor, tried all the usb ports.

The sennheiser uses the microsoft standard usb sound driver.

I tried playing LFS with my Xbox wireless controller connected through this, and the steering was way too sensitive. Is there an option somewhere in LFS to reduce the sensitivity of the steering to make it playable??

Hiya,

Has anyone used this on the PC with the xbox 360 headsets? Was wondering how good they are and if you can get the same sound seperation (xbox360 headset - chat; speakers/headphones - game sound).

If you have used it with which xbox360 headset?

ps3ud0

I got one of these receivers today. Cut just below the line on the packaging and went straight through the cable. Gutted! :(

From the looks of it, even if I'd cut straight across the 'cut here' line I would still have gone through it so might try and blag one from Microsoft. I'm sure they'll tell me where to go though!!

Just ordered one of these badboys too, thanks for the warning above gav, I can do without slicing the wire off :)

these new official drivers mess up ventrilo tho :(

makes me sound like a robot, have to unplug controller, reboot, then ventrilo is back to normal

soon as i plug pad back in, i go all roboty again, must be something to do with the headset port (which i wouldnt use), gonna try those xbcd ones later

what do the xbcd drivers do? I used them for my chillstream, and they work no differently to the MS drivers? Maybe the force feedback is the main thing?
