Its simply eye candy and subjective. It wont effect games as it is disabled with aero when you load one. It uses minimal processor time.

It's good but it's VERY unstable in the long run.

Has caused me a lot of crashes on my 8800gts on some older drivers and I haven't tried again since.

May be better on the newer ones but I'm too scared to try

Kept crashing for me as well, so I've gone back to the old fashioned wallpaper.

I'd use it if it didn't bloody reset every time some program crashed...
It also stops on both screens when I maximize something on screen, wich well errr, sucks.
If they get it to work 24/7 without it turning itself off ''for safety'' when something crashes and if it keeps working on my 2nd screen if something is maximized on my first screen I might retry it not sooner, untill then I prefer my ultramon dual monitor wallpaper.

I don't have any issues with it, just find it a little boring after a while. I guess it's down to the hardware you are running as well as the stability of your PC. It has "cool" factor for while.

It is funny at first then it's a bit annoying as its as mentioned prone to crashing out.

However its cool that you can play any Videoclip on the desktop with sound...so if you got your mates coming over you could have some sleezy pr0n in the background of your dekstop...or you could put anything you want

my poker games etc crash when i try to open them for some reason, anyone know why this may be?

but dreamscene works okay, might get boring after a while though.

Just started using it tbh now that I found dream scapes on wincustomise, much more dreams available!
