2048x1152 or 1920x1200!

As far as I'm aware 16:9 is supported by the minority of games, and I can't see why it'd look better, I doubt its even noticeable.

No, 16:9 is supported by the majority of games. It's only a few old games that can't support it and even then it's nearly always possible to get away with it by editing a config file, etc.

I have a 16:9 24" Dell monitor and it plays all games perfectly fine. BF2/CoD4/CoD5/Farcry 2/Crysis/Crysis Warhead/Fallout 3/Left 4 Dead, etc, etc.

I notice very little difference between a 16:9 and 16:10. It certainly hasn't bothered me at all.

stay clear, its a non-standard resolution in the PC world.
16:10 is the standard, this applies to for OS's, Drivers, Games & Software.

You can get away with it in windows/programs just dont expect games to magicaly work at 16:9 unless they have that specific aspect ratio.

Please dont post crap such as this. You obviously haven't got a clue. Do you even own a monitor?

I haven't had one single problem with playing games at 1920x1080. All games I own support it, even the older ones. I can even get Doom to display in a proper 16:9 resolution and doom is older than you.

Anyone saying anything different aint got a clue what they are talking about tbh.

Mr Miller is correct its a non issue.

Just buy one and be happy fella.

Well I have had it a while now and i like it quite a lot. the stand is fully adjustable full tilt and orientations.
Touch sensitive buttons on the front panel. Blacks look fine to me no ghosting while playing any games. you will get the people saying what about viewing angles, we its a computer monitor not a TV thats just my view.
but all in all its a fantastic monitor.

I like what you did there....Viewing angles and 'your view' lol anyway....nice to know you're loving the monitor.

I'm holding off buying one at the moment as I may end up buying an iMac depending on what updates come next week but if I don't, I'll definately be going for the Samsung :)
