Biggest difference being the hdd cage runs all the way to the top of the case in the 300, whereas in the centurion, you get a 4 bay cage at the bottom, and then 5.25" after that all the way to the top - which is why my first 5870 isn't a problem.

Yeah I had to butcher the inside of my case to get my 5970 to fit. Basically hacksawed about 3/4 of the HDD bay area out, now the card fits and temperatures and airflow are vastly improved (6-8c case temp. drop). Could you remove or modify the innards of your case at all?
Hrm just got home and had another look, don't think I can modify, I forgot that it's not actually touching the hdd cage, it's on the hdds themselves, lol! I don't think i'll be carving up my raptor and black edition drives
I had to hack away at my CM Storm Scout to fit my 5870.

Isnt a vapour x .5" shorter than a standard 5870?
My GTX580 is 10.5" and thats the max length the storm scout would take as theres literally about 2 or 3mm up to the cage.

Well I just got my refund from my 18 month old faulty 4870x2, perfect timing I believe!

I can confirm for this launch that it will be a hard launch, we have unreal amounts of stocks, enough to last us throughout XMAS and January, not only that the price will make people very happy for the performance these cards will bring to the table with fantastic availability.

Only OcUK has stock right now, others have not even had stock shipped to them yet, all I can say is OcUK will have more and our price will be very competitive, think back to how good the 58xx launch was and how surprisingly cheap they were at launch. The 69xx series shall repeat this, so do be warned after launch prices could creep up, thats just a heads up.
Those after a cheap 480, give me a few days and I might be able to offer a cheeky deal on MSI/Gigabyte cards.
