Javascript issue, help!

I'm trying to view a course for work from my laptop at home. I chose to come home to do it because i was already having issues viewing it on the systems at work (they're prehistoric and highly restricted so often won't comply). However now I'm at home I'm getting the same problem:

"If you are seeing this message it is most likely that you either have JavaScript disabled in your browser or that certain security restrictions you have in place are disallowing the JavaScript from functioning."

I have java enabled in both IE and FF. My firewall and any of my adblock software is off and still nothing. That's about the limit of my IT knowledge. Any hints?
