So my spec is a 2500k, with 8gb ram, 7850 2gb msi lightning, in a bitfenix prodigy. the cooler ive got in there atm is lame, i have decent fans (corsair sp120, sp140 and a bitfenix spectre 240(i think)mm fan in there, with an asus p8z77i deluxe board. Im after the most quiet solution possible, id take silence over better performance as im not looking to clock it that much, maybe 4.3 at a big push and i could always upgrade.
Not sure on the budget, cheaper the better obviously, and if the best is available used for a good price im happy to buy used.

What can be recommended for anyone thats done this type of build?

cheers

Honestly the bigger/better the cooler the quieter it will be because it requires less airflow to do the job.
BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 2 is quiet and cool.. but out of stock. :(

Thermalright Macho 120 is great little cooler for the money.

Phanteks PH-TC12PE looks and performs very nicely. £39.98-44.98 depending on color.

Noctua's new NH-U12S is very good but OcUK doesn't have them yet.
