Which TV

I was minutes away from ordering a Sony KDL50W829, when I received an email from richersounds with the Sony KDL55W805 for the same price of £900 - £150 off.

Is it worth considering, or should I just continue with the 50?

Like my brothers' missus says, another 5 inches won't hurt.

I'd say go for the KDL50W829 personally, I've owned it for about 2 weeks now, fantastic TV.

The key features that beat the W805 are the W829 has motionflow of 800Hz and Active 3D. W829 is also a flagship model, promoted by the world cup 2014.

Go for the w829, the 805 uses a LG IPS panel which are shockingly bad for DSE and banding the 829 uses a VA panel and the reviews have already praised the tv for such an even screen
