That 5820K doesn't seem like too terrible a price...
Must not spend money!

5820K 'only' has 28 lanes PCI Express so not great for people with Tri/Quad GPU's.

Though I can't imagine that is very many people.

Those people will buy 5930k or extreme, if you can afford 3-4 GPU's you can afford the more expensive processor with 40 lanes.

The 28 lane processor is more than adequate for two card setups.

Rampage definitely not arriving today.

The Gigabyte boards that are in stock now and the Asus X99 Deluxe are the only boards which will be in stock today. MSI ETAs are accurate, Rampage and Gigabyte Gaming 7 are educated guesswork

Probably even 3GPUs would run great with 28 lanes... 3x Pci-E 3.0 8x is more than enough, I guess.
It is the same as 3x Pci-E 2.0 16x
