Just tested 970 and 980 again using 344.11 driver, simply wow:-

MSI 970 Gaming @ 1600/8400

Galax 980 @ 1550/8400

Mind blowing performance!!!!

The MSI was about 110W from memory.

Did not check the 980 but won't be much.

Surely has to be a given seeing as how the 970 offers equivalent performance and brings a new architecture for much less?

From what I am seeing OC'd 970 beats OC'd 780Ti never mind 780 /drool

Feel like I'm going crazy today, really want to buy a GPU as it is the last piece for my new build. Looking at all the cards I really wanted a EVGA 970 with the new ACX 2.0, but am struggling to find any information anywhere on when, where and how.

Really wanted to order from OCUK for this. Could any light be shed please.

Was hoping to see an Asus 970 available as I want my pc to be as quiet as possible. Which of the 970 lineup would be the quietest?

EDIT: Sorry, should have read the whole thread, I see the MSI is quietest.

ACX 2.0 will come in a few weeks from EVGA.

I don't care, I don't see any other competitor testing these and sharing results like us.

Plus NVIDIA just informed me, OcUK has beaten all other etailors sales wise, so most of our customers clearly appreciate the levels of support we give both pre-sales and after-sales.
