Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, can someone who has bought the LED strips

Just let us know whether its best to go for the 1m LED strips or the 2m ? Also how sticky is the backing, i was reading on amazon.com that some people wern't happy as the backing on the strip isn't sticky enough.

It is proper 3M tape and is sticky enough for the most part. I found with the 2m strip that due to how tightly it is coiled in the packet that the end of the strip always seems to be able to pull it self away from the case as it tries to coil back up. I replaced the tape on the last 20 cm of the strip but its coiling up again .

The case is not really built to take it so it feels like a bit of a kludge to get it to stay in one place like twisting it to fit down the side of the fans. I bought the 2m strip as it was only like 2 quid more for an extra meter on an already expensive optional extra.

Ive chanced the 2m LED's, hopefully they'll stay stuck once i put them in, if not i'll look at some other options.

I'd just use extra glue... it'll be in the case for an age anyway.

If you decide to upgrade and sell the case at a later date i don't think any new owner would fancy one with glue all over it. I'll just see how it goes, their must be some decent double sided strong tape around that would work just incase it does come unstuck.

Self adhesive cable tie mounts will do the trick, so that you don't have to use the sticky backing that comes with the led strips.

Plus the mounts can be removed if you sell the case.

Given this LED strip is for this case alone, I don't see an issue with a slightly more permanent solution personally. Unless you're only keeping it for a short time perhaps.
