Question about single and dual

Hey,

I've ordered parts for my PC build, got a 'out for delivery' notice and then realised I'd ordered a single 16gb instead of 2 8gb sticks, is it worth returning and getting two stocks over the single or is the speed negligible?

I just finished reading this article it should answer you question, but i guess it also can depend on the hardware/software.

Thanks bud was a good read, after that and some research it looks like there's not much difference if only gaming, but better off in other instances (3D modelling/simulation etc) to be using two stocks in a dual channel setup
