New phone transfer eveything from old.

Hi guys, I apologise if this is on the forum already, im writing this on a severely damaged phone, were the scree is buggered.
So im going from android to android, and would like to know if there is a way of transfering everything from my d phone to the new one.
Like apps, contacts, pictures, etc everything in one go.

Going from a smart ultra 6 to a nexus 6p.

Most should come across when you log in to your google account should it not. Were your pics backed up anywhere

Do apps automatically install if you do that? Pictures can be done from the sdcard if need be, just would like to have it all transfer across if i can.
Like moto migrate etc.

All my apps carried over just by logging in to the phone.
My pics are on dropbox etc

If your contacts was saved on your Google account it should be already backed up and will sync over as soon as you sign in: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=Cm#contacts

Can't find that on my smart ultra 6 nor the nexus 6p..at the moment I'm going through installing all my apps, but over mobile data it's slow going sometimes. If I could work this out it would be easier.

Log in with your Google account and see what's missing? Everything should be the same if you sync your Google account. Even pictures

I thought it was part of the initial setup, should ask you if you have another device you want to copy settings from? I definitely did with the 5X that I briefly had.

I guess its irrelevant if its not available on the old phone though, should just be under 'google settings'

Nothing came up on the nexus 6p when i set it up, ive been reading it should have done but nothing. Found the settings that you said, but needs wifi which i dont have at this house

Without wifi it's going to be painful downloading all those apps and data. Better have a big data allowance
