Hi All.

Looking for some advice.

I have the MSI x99a SLI Plus Gaming Mobo.

Recently using Corsair Link it is stating my Mobo Temp #3 is at around 120 Degrees which in my opinion way too hot for it to run at, however no issues on my PC side of thing... yet.

Please see the below pic to see.

Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Now due to my GPU size it does sit over the heatsink. (cant do much about the placement)

Thanks!

Allow the computer to cool down
Power it up and read the temerature
If you are getting 120 the sensor is faulty
If temperature starts at 40 and climbs to 120 over time
Then you have a problem
But my opinion is that the sensor is broken

Its in Celsius, and I have touched the heat sink, it was quite hot couldn't keep my hand there for long.

Once I'm home, ill take a look and monitor.... the issue I also have is the Mobo #3 Temp doesn't actually show up on the Corsair Link till its at around 100 degrees.
