Hi all,

So I've been on the look out for a case that has an inverted layout and a windowed left side panel (like the new corsair 600C).
However I don't like any of the default offerings, so was thinking of modding a standard case to suit my needs.
On a similar vein, the Silverstone SST-FT05B is the style I like but has the motherboard tray rotated 90 degrees but I would still need to secure the mobo tray on the other side and rotate the 'I/O' panel 180 degrees, then cut out a window on the left side panel.
Alternatively I could just buy something like the Parvum R1.0, though not quite as elegant IMO.

Anyone ever tried something like this? :p

Yes, https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18050449
A bit old now, but I see they ar still selling the case.

Ah yes the TJ07, I've owned a couple myself and it's an awesome case but I don't want a third :p

I may scrap the idea of modding an existing case as I've read about the Be quiet! dark base 900 cases coming out soon which are modular, you can flip the motherboard tray around and have the window on the right
