Possible memory problems, tests needed.

Hello, For the last couple of weeks my PC has been unable to run games such as Dying Light because the OS shuts them and itself (sometimes) down citing a lack of memory.

I'm on 8 gb's of ddr3 with a 4790k on Win 10 pro.
As I said it's always been plenty until recently so I want to test my memory is okay and rule that out.

Can someone suggest some programs I can download to test it with please Thanks.

Yes, memtest86+ is what you need. If at first you don't get any errors, then test each stick at a time and in different slots to rule out a motherboard issue.

Your problems could be caused by a memory leak elsewhere in the system. How much memory is being used while the system is at idle?
