mackie active speakers with a vali2

hi I am looking to add some speakers to my vali2 setup and was looking at some Mackie CR4 28W Pair of Active Studio Monitor Speakers with Built-in Amplifier
has any one any opions on wether they are any good and would I need the added amp?

You don't use amp with active speakers...so you should really just connect them up to a DAC/soundcard.

Just plug them into the pre-out sockets on the back of the Vali 2

I can highly recommend the Edifer RT1800III's...........

The look cheaper than the Mackie.
