EK IO of GPU block question.

Hi guys im looking to change from a dual card set up to single by selling one of my 780ti's. This will involve me bending atleast one new bend which is not a problem but I was wondering if EK blocks from card to card keep the IO ports of the block in the same place?

So for example I bend pipes to fit my current 780ti FC block. If I then upgrade to a newer 10xx series and EK FC block will the new card drop right in?
