TP LINK AV1200 powerline

Hello

I have recently purchased the above powerline and it is transferring at a rate of kilobits compared to the AV200that they have replaced that was carrying a 10 MB connection. Does anyone know how I may go about trouble shooting this to find out the cause of the problem?

Nevermind. Just so happens its coinciding with Sky Fibre playing up.

Internet seems to have picked up today but, still only getting 1MB download speeds through the powerline when downstairs is getting 20mb. Any one have any ideas what the problem may be?

Always test LAN to LAN for measuring performance.

Have you tried the TP Link utility? It should show the link speed between the units.

Might be that you have a faulty unit putting interference into the circuit?

I have got a replacement unit today and the same issue is happening. Coincidentally, the old units that are rated 200mps are really slow as well. Does this indicate something has changed in the powerlines somewhere? Anyone got any ideas?

I've tried the utility and that seems to be fine.
