I have the cutting tool in this kit... and it actually seems to do a really nice clean cut on the PETG tube, so I'm wondering what I use the chamfer tool for exactly as this just seems to make it all rough. Do I need to do inside and outside to creating a profiled edge, and then smooth off with the sandpaper? Or you can you just cut and then attach the fixings?

- Insert each end of the trimmed tube to the PETG Chamfer tool and rotate anticlockwise
- Use the Sand Paper to clean up the chamfered edges

You just do the outside.
The only reason you camfer it is so it doesnt damage the o ring when you slide it into your fitting.

Just so it's smooth.
Not much, you just need to take the edge off so it can slide past the o rings without damaging them.

It depends on the fittings your using. I didn't bother chamferring mine as at no point do they every touch the O rings.
Ah true. On mine it slides past the o ring so needs it.

I suppose its good practice to do it even if needed.
