Lighweight VR laptop using GTX107/1080

Guys,
as the title says, looking for the lightest possible VR laptop. Must have a GTX 1070 or 1080. 15-16" ideally, 16gb ram.

so the only diff is the 4k IPS panel then?
I guess there's not going to be much below 2.4kg out there.

Asus ROG Strix GL502VS looks better spec, lighter, cheaper to me. I'm waiting to see if OC get it in stock. (Roughly £1666 for i7-6700HQ , 1070 gtx, 256gb ssd and 32gb memory. Only 15.6" 1080p screen though).

Hi Banzai_Joe,

The main spec difference is the UHD panel yes - but the unit with the higher spec panel also has BD Writer rather than DVD.

On both units this is "hot-swappable" with a caddy that's supplied with the laptops, enabling storage expansion by adding HDD or SSD.

Yeah, this has been top of the list so far, i'd been hanging my nose over it.
