multiple NVME (PCI-E) allowed?

so i'm considering having multiple PCI-E NMVE drives as well as my motherboard NMVE

I got a 5930K + my board has extra PCI lanes from the chipset (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...4-eatx-workstation-motherboard-mb-629-as.html)

so theirs no reason i cannot have 7 nvme drives including mb + gfx?

It should be like having 7 SATA drives so should be ok. I have never tried it but cannot see why it would not work.
