Not as clear cut though. This has stereo speakers and an SD slot, and also QHD res.

Stereo speakers +1
SD Card - oneplus3 has 64GB storage so doesn't need one
QHD screen - kills battery life and you cant tell the difference on a such a small screen

For one I'd want more than 64GB. Why limit yourself?

And two, it was proven ages ago that QHD has hardly any affect on battery life, comparing the S5 which had both a FHD and QHD version.

I have a Nexus 6 and battery life is great. And so it is on the S7. QHD isn't a must though I'd have to see the OP3 panel to make judgement. I can see the Pentile matrix on the Note 3 is all.

QHD may be noticeable when you use the bundled VR headset - though 10mins later the novelty may have worn off :D

For £9 more you get the oppo 3 this should be £250ish

Think I would have to retract my previous analysis somewhat, the one plus 3 is better phone apart from screen resolution and SD card slot. Also the Vodafone has a series 6 snap drgon vs the 820. Vodafone almost had a great phone if they just put a better processor. If they drop the price to £250 mark it might be worth a look but personally just pay the extra for a much better performing cpu.

Smart Ultra 7 is coming too - it's announced internally and some OpCos (not UK yet). Details are here:

Weight 150g
Colours Silver, Dark Grey
Screen 5.5” FHD
Camera 13MP AF with Flash, 5MP FF front camera with Flash

Battery capacity 2960 mAh
Networks GSM/EDGE/3G/HSPA+/LTE-CAT4
Features WiFi 2.4G: 802.11 b/g/n; 5G: 802.11 a/n BT 4.1 A2DP, GPS
Box contents Charger, 3.5”stereo headset , Micro-USB data cable, QSG, Safety & Warranty Guide
Key USP Speed is what I need: LTE Cat 4, latest Android M, large memory, octa-core processor, premium design.
Max. SAR 0.544 W/kg

to be clear, this is not the plat but a successor(...ish) to the current SU6. LTE CAT 4 = 150mb down and I believe they mean 802.11 AC when it says A/N. 802.11a is a bit old now :)

If I was forking out that much, I wouldn't want the vodafone branding. I have a SU6 which I'm happy with and don't mind the branding because it's dirt cheap. Maybe others aren't as petty as me?? :p
