I have a Note 4 and a S6 and bought a 3 SIM for use in USA

I get the above message when I put the SIM in which appears to indicate phones are locked but they certainly shouldn't be as they were bought network free on a corporate purchase direct from Samsung

any ideas?

European lock: http://www.androidcentral.com/heres-how-region-locking-works-european-samsung-galaxy-s5

To make it properly fully unlocked internationally, it needs an EU SIM to be used with it for at least around 5 minutes of calling while in the EU... and UK.

Could be due to corporate purchase. All new Samsung boxes have this info in the seal. Possible the phones have locked to vodafone, worth ringing them and checking.

its always been like this, when the note 3 came out, that when they first introduce it. anything above note 3 series is region lock, and anything above S5 series is region lock.

My Note 4 and note 3 both sim free, wouldn't work in Bangladesh :(
