Just wanted to let anybody know who owns a Corsair 100 series case, you can indeed fit a big cooler inside it. The max cooler height given by Corsair is 150mm. However as you can see a Coolermaster 212x fits nice a snug due the bulge in the side panel. The cooler is infact 158mm high!
Here some pics with it installed with no issues. Also see my custom drilled vented front and Ive removed the HDD bay and side mouted my SDD for even more airflow.
I have a GTX 1070 Zotac on the way, so more space the better
So you can indeed fit big things inside a nice sleek, smaller size case.
Oh and take no noticed of CPU cooler fans, got 2 Corsair high pressure fans on order for a push and pull setup.
