Clone drive and use that instantly?

I've bought a SSD that I'm going to use to replace my 2 x 128GB SSDs I have now but I was wondering if it's possible to clone the original drive to the new one and have everything work as if it were still on the original drive so not have to re-install Windows or all of my programs.

Acronis true image for me. The universal restore feature means I can whack the image onto any hardware and it'll just work.

If you have another spare disk attached to the system and Windows 7 or later you can also create a system image and restore that to the new drive too.
