The chap on the phone when I set everything up said I should have the router next to the tv... Not a problem as I needed a new phone line running in anyway... Fast forward to today when the engineer turned up he said that everything is wireless now so that's irrelevant.
Anyway he has now gone and I've had a flick through the manual, the TV box said it needs connecting via Ethernet. Ordinarily not a problem except my router and master socket has been installed 20' away in the next room.

Seems a simple power line adapter would fix the issue but is it unreasonable of me to expect BT to supply one?

Sounds fair... The TV stuff is all still in the box, there wasn't even an attempted installation! But yes the crux of it is that the TV doesn't work.

Admittedly running the new phone line round the perimeter of the house would've been a ball ache but that's what we're paying for I guess.
