I'm a Vodafone pay monthly customer, who signed up via Mobiles.co.uk. I have an S7 Edge, which died on me last week (the screen out of nowhere just turned green -- very strange).
I contacted Vodafone customer support and after doing some diagnostics they sent me to a Vodafone store. I went there and they sent me to Carphone Warehouse. I went there and they sent me to another Carphone Warehouse, but with a 'geek squad' section. Eventually, I turned up at that store and there were no 'geeks' in, so they couldn't do any diagnostics in-store, and they just took the phone off me and sent it for repair.
It's been a week now and the online tracker still shows as 'diagnosis' (meaning that the repair hasn't even begun) and all I've got is the crap Huawei replacement phone they gave me.
I'm getting seriously ****ed off not having the phone I'm paying good money for. And today I was nearly late for a job interview because I had to rely on my 10 year old in-car sat nav instead of Google Maps on my phone. Am I justified in feeling like they are taking the **** or is this pretty standard fare for the mobiles market? Is there anything I can do to get this sorted quicker (e.g., is this something Vodafone should be taking care of)?
