Hi all,

I may be in the market for a replacement Nas, as my current readynas is circling the drain. The only purpose of this device will be for backups, coming from both Veeam & SQL.

I've been looking at a buffalo terastation as something quite cheap that could get me up and working should my readynas die - has anyone got any negative / positive feedback they could provide please?

QNAP for features.

Buffalo if you just want a plain and simple NAS, we have some old Terastations and they just work, as do the QNAP but you are paying a lot more for features you'll likely never use.
