Liking the side-facing USB 3 header on that board. Does away with the untidy loop you get. Also nice to see they've committed to the black theme and not wrecked it.
EK waterblocks premounted on the VRMs are nice too - saves a lot of work! Are you planning to use them?

The RAM cooler is novel - not seen that one before. Are you planning to overclockers them massively? If not, the breeze from the Varder directly above it would probably have been quieter (if that's what you're after - that's my preference but not everyone's) and just as effective. My RAM doesn't get above the low 30s at stock of 3733MHz so I haven't done anything to cool it. SSDs were hotter at up to 60-odd degrees.

Looking tidy so far. Maybe some cable combs for the graphics power? Watercool it and you won't have the fans in the way so you can loop the power cables underneath it?

Cheers guys

I'm looking to water cool the whole system but waiting for the new Nvidia Pascal cards to come out so I can buy 2 and SLI them with hard tubing for the custom loop.

The windforce is just something I brought to tide me over.

So far the build is and have the following on route to me this week.

I should this weekend therefore be able to create the custom loop and at least power the system up. Then wait for NVidia to release their new cards and SLI this baby up.

Not planning to OC the memory I just stuck the block on their as it has Red LED's LOL

Well, if it's just for the LEDs that's ok then! :p
You mean Nvidia are going to obsolete my 980ti before I finish building the case?!

Yes do you not know about that?

They are announcing new GeForce 1080x or 180 cards on April 4-8th at the GDC conference.

Meant to be twice as powerful than the current 980Ti, google "NVidia Pascal"

Nope. Blissfully unaware. Nobody wants to know the next card is coming out and will be much better than the one they've just bought! My only consolation is that it's likely to be hideously out of my price range for a while! Can see why you're holding out for one though!

I don't think so :D

Mmm, Bose Companion 50's. I keep looking at those to replace my failing Creative Labs 6.1's that are down to 4.1 and falling. Should be good for music but not sure about positional sound for gaming. Any good?

Ikea desk. Check. Got mine in black.

Varders on the front. Nice. Got one of the furious ones as an exhaust fan for my understairs server cupboard. As good at 75% as the Pabst that preceeded it at full pelt plus some headroom.

Blood red coolant. That'll look very nice bleeding across that light desk! Hopefully you won't have that problem.
At least you've worked out how to plumb in your rad. All the possible ways of connecting mine and the problems killing each are keeping me awake at night!

Looking good though. Looking forward to the SLI Pascals!

Nice build so far!

I was under the impression that the enthusiast type pascal cards (i.e. the titan and 980ti type equivalent) would not be out for quite some time.

First one waits for pascal, then one waits for the flagship, then one waits for the Ti equivalent. For example the 980Ti came out a good 9 or more months after the first release of the maxwell cards. If you are waiting for reference design cards from third parties then potentially the wait is even longer. If they do manage to release the flagship pascal towards the beginning of 2nd half 2016 then perhaps we might see the Ti equivalent just before the end of the year? Of course if you are going balls out and just going for a dual flagship GP100 setup then perhaps you might have them by the summer (although "by 2H 2016" is sufficiently vague!).

There's always something new and better on the horizon... if, as is quite reasonable to expect, it's not far off a year or so until we see the 980ti equivalent of pascal, we'll then be talking about how Volta is only just around the corner in 2018 - and of course that looks set to destroy pascal.

At some point you just have to jump in and get the best that you can afford at that time and go enjoy it :)

With that said, I've already started saving for replacements for my two 980ti's - hopefully for me the hydrocopper pascal equivalents from EVGA won't arrive too soon and i'll actually have enough cash saved up by then lol.

So it leaked but you've fixed it? Otherwise, that's not the EK res that requires extensions they don't include in order not to leak is it?

I bet it was a joy to prime the pump and get it all filled!

Looks good too. Now all you need is a graphics card :D
