GA-Z77-D3H and Samsung Green RAM - Unable to change settings

I'm trying to overclock this RAM and it seems the settings are completely ignored no mater what I do, and remain at SPD timings. Am I missing something?

The options selected are saved correctly and survive a reboot, but the actual speed & timings never change.

Stupid question first - XMP disabled?

Could the overclock be failing and system reverts to previous settings, without informing you?

Little test - leave the memory alone and slightly overclock (or underclock, doesn't matter) the CPU. See if that sticks or not.

Screenshots of all your memory configurations in the BIOS might also help readers spot something.
