New monitor, 144Hz or 1440 ?

HI

Looking to upgrade my old 22" 1080p monitor, interested in going bigger to 24" i think 27" would be too big for my desk.
i have a GTX 980 GPU would this struggle gaming at 1440p?
am i better of just upgrading to a 144hz monitor or both?

Each is a fine choice and your 980 will cope just fine whichever way you decide.

I had the same conundrum - but I wanted an IPS screen and couldn't justify the cost of a 144/IPS combo.

And I'm not really an FPS gamer, so I settled on the Dell U2515H (same screen as the AOC you listed, but I'm a Dell monitor fanboy). Both great screens.

Iv just bought the same monitor, never had a Dell before will see what the hypes about in 2days
