8350 is fine for all of those; you'll get a little better frames with intel with wow as its not threaded......

but world of warships runs fine same thing with swtor - even in raid moments my 8320e doesn't drop frames........total war will be better with intel right now.

Honestly with zen not to far and you want to go back to AMD; just wait - should be around Oct time as Zen was demoed not to long ago; it was shown running new DOOM

Since prices have shot up on this site today i would wait for Zen and for prices to come down again

Go for a cheap skylake i5. Zen won't be cheaper (unless it performs worse), and the pound taking a... pounding, isn't gonna help prices either.

The G4400 was only supposed to be a stop gap. I've just bought an Asus Z97 Pro Gamer, i5 4690k and 8GB of 1600MHz RAM.
