Hey, so i think its time i upgrade my monitor (christmas present for myself). I currently have a 23.something Acer LED screen i've owned for around 5 years now (give or take), although its great i could use another hdmi port. I am also thinking a slight size upgrade aswell. Heres what i'm thinking for requirements.
2 x hdmi
1 x display port
27" maybe a little bigger but not too much as i dont think i could sit in front of a monster screen for too long
Doesnt need built in speakers as i listen to everything via headphones.
I generally use my machine for movies, streaming etc. Dont really game on the pc anymore. I do have my xbox one which i connect to the screen.
Currently i dont have dedicated graphics, although this will change to something like an rx480 in the near future. I'm using the onboard on my asus z170-k currently.
I was looking at LG 29UC88 but think isnt really suitable and the idea of an ultra wide curved screen was tempting me, plus i dont want bars when playing the xbox
So a standard screen aspect ratio. I was also looking at the Samsung U28E590D which could be a possibility but i'd like to keep the price under £300, around £250 but i am willing to go closer or just over £300 for ideal screen.
Anyone got any ideas?
