Stock is quite limited unfortunately with only around 300 units of 24" landing in December and under 100 units of the 27" so we expect them to sell out.

We have one of each here including the 34" and in short I am completely blown away, I have not seen a single monitor on the market that can even come close to them. Once the G-SYNC versions arrive next year Samsung will be a true force in gaming monitors and the rest of the market will truly have to pick their game up to compete with these.

P.S. I have requested 27" 2560x1440 VA 1ms, 144Hz, Quantum DOT in FREESYNC & G-SYNC too, lets see if it happens. ;)

Unfortunately, I doubt they can make them sufficiently responsive beyond 1920x1080 yet, hence the 3440x1440 only doing 100Hz. If they can, then I'd skip both and wait for a 3440x1440 VA 1ms 144Hz.

I'm assuming these new 144hz 1ms VAs don't have the horrible max responsiveness values of the Sharp / AUO and marginally less horrible max responsiveness of existing Samsung VA panels?

I so wanted to like the Eizo VA and BenQ ones ... but found them so juddery it hurt my eyes. Whilst the existing Samsung ones aren't high Hz and never made any outlandish responsiveness claims, I still couldn't consider them.

What is the excuse for that stand honestly. The Korean monitor using Samsung's ultra wide panel looks so much nicer because of it lol

Do you perhaps know if the purple issue that most people have been experiencing with the C24FG70 has been fixed on the C27FG70.

Like this for example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V1zXI0ggZM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob3eHXgUb84

The purple artifact is basically something that happens in somewhat dark areas, the colors will have like a purple color/hue to the screen. There are also some freesync issues with the C24FG70 like a flickering side and stuff.

Wow they are ugly stands, far too expensive for 1080p and free sync/g sync are simply not needed at that res.

Why do people need a 27inch monitor... i struggle to look at all of my 24 inch.

and yes those stands look very big.

I want bigger than my 27". Why would you want a little screen? I find Marge screens more immersive though mine is 1440p. 1080p on 27" might be a little... Overkill

More monitors than not have issues with those grey banded websites ... but that CS:GO Dust2 example was bad ... :(

Pretty much, the purple thing bothers me the most. Though I have read somewhere that samsung is aware of it and can fix it with a firmware update at a repair center. So I assume the 27 inch won't have it hopefully.

Hi Gibbo - does the CF791 run at higher refresh rates when you drop the resolution? It seems the previous version of the panel did, but from what I have read this will be using a different panel (LTM340YP04 as opposed to LTM340YP03). Thanks in advance.
